Dr. Walden began his career in pediatric home health where he worked with countless rare genetic disorders, syndromes, and a variety of populations. He transitioned into the world of orthopedic/pain management to reach a population that is close to his heart and is able to relate to living with pain on a daily basis. During physical therapy school, Dr. Walden spend his time tutoring is fellow students given his background in education and assisted the anatomy department with cadaver prep in order to solidify his knowledge of human anatomy. He specializes in treatment of the spine, lower extremity, SI, gait, and pain management. Dr. Walden has advanced training in Integrative Trigger Point Dry Needling and Manual Therapy techniques including joint manipulation, mobilization, and muscle energy. Dr. Walden runs the Physiotherapy and Functional Restoration department at Advanced Pain Care in Round Rock, TX. He also serves as a Clinical Instructor for future Physical Therapists. Dr. Walden utilized a variety of tools including concepts taken from Tai Chi, yoga, strength training, mind muscle connection, and meditation along with his physical therapy training to treat the whole person and not just the symptoms.
