Luke started Trinity Wellness Center in January 2002 along with his wife Emily in the hopes of providing quality care in an old-fashioned, family-style atmosphere. He believes strongly in one-on-one individualized care and providing manual therapy and custom home exercise programs for their patients. Luke received his Bachelor's degree in Zoology from NC State University, where he also participated on the men's basketball team. He graduated in 1998 and continued on to physical therapy school at the University of NC at Chapel Hill. He graduated with his Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2000. He specializes in the areas of orthopedics and sports medicine and is certified in Integrated Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction Rehab, SASTM and FMS (Functional Movement Screen). Luke is an American Physical Therapy Association Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist and a Sports Specialist. In addition to working at Trinity Wellness, Luke is also part of the NCSU sports medicine team. He assists the athletic trainers with coordination of long-term rehab for multiple sports with a concentration on football and track and field. Luke has been a frequent speaker for numerous groups including: The Capital RunWalk "Ask the Experts" series, Galloway Running Group, Duke-Raleigh Walking Club and ACO Continuing Education.
