Dr. Jonathan Weimer is a native of Colorado, having graduated from Wheat Ridge High School in 2003. Upon graduation he attended the University of Kansas where he received his Bachelor of Science in Health Sport and Exercise Science. Dr. Weimer then attended Logan College of Chiropractic where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic, Master of Science in Sport Science and Rehabilitation, as well as another Bachelor of Science in Life Science. While at Logan he had the privilege of working with many different types of patients. These patients ranged from the everyday person seeking general chiropractic care to high school and collegiate athletes looking for improved athletic performance, pain prevention and rehabilitation. Dr. Weimer also had the pleasure of working at the St. Louis VA Medical Center Jefferson Barracks, where he treated veterans with varying degrees of injuries. Since graduating in 2010 and returning home to Colorado, Dr. Weimer has completed two separate internships/fellowships. His first stop was at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic Denver where he worked in the rehabilitation department as an intern assisting in post surgical and conservative rehabilitation of numerous professional and amateur athletes. From Denver, Dr. Weimer moved to Vail for a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the world renowned Vail Integrative Medical Group (VIMG). While at VIMG he was able to work alongside other chiropractors, physical therapists and medical doctors in a multidisciplinary practice to achieve excellent patient results. Dr. Weimer also served as the team chiropractor for Ski and Snowboard Club Vail and on the medical staff for the Vail International Dance Festival in 2011, 2012 and 2017 Dr. Weimer is certified by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP) and former team official team chiropractor for the Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse. He is also certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling, Active Release Techniques (Full Body and Long Tract Nerve Entrapment’s), DNS and Functional Taping. He is an active member of the Colorado Chiropractic Association (CCA) and the American Chiropractic Association (ACA).
