Dr. Stephen Burkert founded Snow Beast Performance to create a different kind of physical therapy experience; one built around time, attention, and real outcomes for active people.

Steve works with individuals who want to take care of their bodies for the long term so they can continue showing up for the people and activities that matter most, from work and family life, to long days outside in Vermont’s mountains and woods. His approach focuses on restoring balance in the body, improving movement quality, and helping people build the knowledge and habits that keep them healthy long after therapy ends.

Steve holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) and is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and certified in Integrative Dry Needling.

Steve believes that fresh air, sunshine, and movement are essential parts of healthy living, and he’s motivated to help people return to the outdoor activities that make Vermont life so meaningful.
