About Me
Heather is originally from Cleveland Ohio. She attended Eastern Michigan University to obtain her B.S. in Exercise Science graduating in 2013, and the University of Toledo Doctor of Physical Therapy program graduating in 2016. Prior to completing her DPT she worked as a personal trainer during which time she learned about nutrition and how to help clients find motivation to achieve their goals. Her clinical specialty interests include neurologically mediated chronic pain conditions and disorders such as fibromyalgia, cervicogenic and migraine headache, temporomandibular dysfunction, chronic back pain, complex regional pain syndrome, and pelvic pain. She has a family and personal history of multiple chronic pain related conditions and strives to provide the best possible care to individuals suffering with chronic pain. She believes in an integrative approach to condition management to treat the whole person, not just a back or a knee.
In 2022 Heather opened her own private practice in Toledo Ohio providing concierge care services to clients at their home, workplace or gym.
In her spare time she enjoys volunteering, and spending time with her family. She continues to do gymnastics and enjoys working with gymnasts, dancers, and figure skaters. Her husband also participates in Ironman triathlon events and coaches professional and college track swimmers so she is familiar with these types of athletes and the challenges they face.
