Hello! My name is Carrie and I am a Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer and Pilates instructor located in Indianapolis, IN. I started out as an Athletic Trainer in 2004 after receiving my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Athletic Training from Indiana University Bloomington. I was actually a Ballet major initially, but after a knee injury in my sophomore year I decided to change my career path and switched my major to Athletic Training. In 2010 I received my clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis, and started working in outpatient orthopedics at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis. With my ballet background, I found a passion in helping local dance schools and companies with injury prevention screens, and had the privilege of working closely with Butler University's dance department as well as Dance Kaleidoscope, one of the Midwest's longest performing professional dance companies.

After 15 years in the outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine realm, I opened my own cash based Physical Therapy clinic in Carmel, IN. My practice is located within a gym and fully equipped classical Pilates studio. In addition to my Athletic Training and Physical Therapy degrees, I am also a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT), and I enjoy incorporating Pilates into my Physical Therapy practice in addition to traditional strength training.

Over my 15+ years in orthopedics and sports medicine, I have taken several manual therapy courses and I utilize several techniques including joint mobilizations, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, cupping, and dry needling to help my patients restore mobility and decrease pain.

When I'm not in the clinic, I'm hanging out with my family and/or nerding out on Pilates, Physical Therapy, or strength training.
