I took the 1st course last month.  I have that T7 homeostatic point was good for chronic pain.  Can you explain why this is an impactful spot?

Thanks

Hi Amy!

It's not necessarily T7 specifically that is good for chronic pain...It's all the homeostatic points!

The homeostatic points are our easy access points into the nervous system and and driven by central processing.  If you are able to reduce the peripheral inflammation along these homeostatic points, you can help modulate the amount of nociception  going into central processing and help modulate their chronic pain.

So in the cases of chronic, wide spread pain, the best bang for your buck may be to needle the involved homeostatics to treat the system.  I hope this was helpful!
