I'm currently working with a patient on his chronic right hip pain and parasthesias. He has undergone multiple right hip surgeries including labral repair followed by THA. Current needle placement with e-stim includes L2-L4 paraspinals, Iliopsoas (anterior & posterior), iliacus, ITB, Obturator and an emphasis over Lateral Femoral Cutaneous Nerve as this is his familiar symptom distribution.
His pain management MD is excited that he is getting some decreased symptoms with our interventions when nothing else has helped in (including Gabapentin and narcotics).
His MD is recommending SPRINT Peripheral Nerve Stimulator for Femoral Nerve; this is a new device. Has anyone had any experience with this device? It's placed only for 6 months on the patient. I'd appreciate any input on this case.

Hi Sharon,

I have not used it but watching the video makes good sense and they are locating it directly near the nerve which makes sense.  Let us know how they do.  Your needling was spot on!
