Hi all. I assuming it is safe to needle the lumbar spine in a patient with Arnold Chiari, but being new to dry needling, I just wanted to double check. He is having persistent pain for about 5 years in the peroneal nerve distribution in his foot with some associated muscle spasms in the foot. It only occurs with prolonged weight bearing for his work once a week. He is in his late teens.
