Hi I am wondering if IDN can be incorporated for MG patients. Especially for Ptosis. Or is IDN contraindicated?

I would use caution treating a patient with MG given that it’s autoimmune and the immune system is actively attacking the muscle cell and that is what you would be encouraging with DN. But, there is literature in the acupuncture world showing effectiveness with shallow/superficial techniques and even using low intensity Estim on these superficial techniques to improve pain.
