I have had some success calming the neurogenic inflammation using dry needling following the neurology and also needling between the metatarsals at the affected region. If the neuroma is well organized I would not expect needling to resolve the neuroma .

Hi Luke

it may also be important to determining if the enflamed tissue is truly the nerve or capsule. We will utilize the MSK ultrasound to clarify the correct tissue. I will reduce neural inflammation as described above, by Sonya and Natalie. then we do ultrasound guided needling of the adjacent when it appears different than tissue in other interdigital spaces. Hope this helps.

I have needle maybe three people directly into the sensitive neuroma and along the nerve distributions. This has helped significantly reduce inflammation/irritation. I then focused on proper arch support, lower kinetic chain strengthening, and proprioception. You may not be able to get complete resolution, but I've found it to be at least helpful.
