Is it okay to use massage cream after dry needling?
I had a patient who had some residual muscle tightness after dry needling and I wanted to do some cupping with lotion for the glide.
Is this contraindicated? Is there an infection risk?
the Risk is probably minimal as the lesions are so small but work within your comfort.
Of additional concern when you cup over an area you have recently needled occasionally the suction of the cup will pull blood out.
