Has anyone used IDN for people with quadriplegia? I am seeing a gentleman that is having orthopedic shoulder pain and feel that dry needling would be helpful. My concern is triggering autonomic dysreflexia.

Yes. I use it on quadriplegics. I have never seen any dysreflexia. You can always have a vasovagal reaction with any person receiving dry needling. As always, start with a low dosage to see how his autonomic NS reacts. Here is one case report. There may be others in the literature.
