Hi Dan,

What you did was fine but missed 50% of the treatment which is the trigeminal distribution (supra/infraorbitals in particular) combine that with the GON and you will see results that last- at least until the next flair of the migraine which can be central i.e immunogenic crossover or significant stress etc that goes beyond musculoskeletal generator.  Keeping the V and GON under control is a big help to reducing the number and the sensitivity so that even if a central event occurs they may not trigger a full blown migraine.  Education on her triggers goes a long way with most patients as well.
