I did a brief needling on a patient with low back and chronic Guillain-Barre syndrome--L4-6 and cluneal nn. and she was unsteady and weak at her next visit. Has anyone experienced this outcome? I am concerned about trying this again.

Hi Jodi,
Sounds like you did a very low dose of needling which is warranted as a first exposure for a patient like you describe. I have not had an issues like that especially with the low dose as you describe so not sure it can be completely related back to the needling. What was the effect on her pain?
