Hi! I'm having trouble finding any general guidelines for how long post-op it is recommended to wait before dry needling for scar mobility. Does anyone no of any guidelines, either time based or based on swelling?

Surgical scars should be well healed before dry needling the scar or the immediate surrounding tissue.
Consult with the surgeon if the patient is still under the care of the surgeon.
Continue with all other scar management options to optimize the healing and tissue quality.
