Has anyone had any luck treating a patient with peripheral neuropathy due to demyelination? I have a patient that technically has myelopathy (muscular dysfunction) with no sensory deficit at this time due to nitrous oxide abuse -- she has been taking B12 supplements & is seeing steady improvement. She is currently at a 4/5 within her available ROM in all planes at the ankle (DF limited due to prior drop foot & MAFO use). Thinking needling for further nerve conduction improvement may help?? Deep peroneal pathway to improve anterior tibialis activation? Any thoughts?
