I recently evaluated a patient that was involved in a motor vehicle accident. She has a lot of tightness and guarding in her upper traps and around the cervical/thoracic region. She is very interested in dry needling, however due to the systemic inflammatory affects that it can have I wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with this. She does acupuncture 2x a month as well.
