Hello!
I have a patient with a splenectomy scar that runs from her navel to her xiphoid process; I wanted to make sure since it runs up so high that it was still safe to needle so long as I stay superficial with a 0.5in needle and angle the needle horizontally/under the scar not AP? Based on my anatomy apps I am still clear of the lung field, but wanted to double check and see if anyone else has done any dry needling to a similar scar?
