I completed my Bachelors degree in Psychology Pre-Physical Therapy at Ohio University in 2002. I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Az in 2005. During my time in Arizona, I volunteered with Manos de Ayuda, an organization that provides treatment to underprivileged children and families in Mexico. Other volunteer opportunities included sports for the disabled, Iron Man and Maraton events. My clinical work included working with a variety of patients such as joint replacement, arthritis, ACL, and other orthopedic injuries in adolescents and adults. Additionally, I worked with infants with Torticollis and children with Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, Autism and many other conditions. The majority of my treatment with these children utilized Hippotherapy and Aquatic therapy. In 2008 I returned to Ohio and began practicing in post-acute care, managing post-op joint replacement and chronic diseases such as Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, and Diabetes. Currently, the majority of my practice is Early Intervention in which I treat diagnoses including prematurity, torticollis, Cerebral Palsy, congenital heart disease, and various genetic disorders.
