Rob begun his career at the University of Michigan Hospitals & Clinics rotating around through various services to expand on his knowledge base from Cardiopulmonary (treating an artificial heart patient and CF patients) to their Burn Unit and Wound Care before moving on to Inpatient Rehab (postops) and Outpatients (where he coached a wheelchair basketball team and train in Manual Medicine with Phillip Greenman, D.O. from MSU). He then moved back to his hometown area of Chicago working for two different Outpatient Orthopedic and Sportsmedicine practices in the LOOP (Cyriax and Mulligan trained therapists) and northside gaining experience working with ATC's from DePaul University, PT faculty from Northwestern University and a Shirley Sahrmann trained therapist. He then was recruited to open a outpatient clinic in the Vail, CO area which he left due to treatment paradigm disagreements with the owner to begin doing traveling therapy for four years. While traveling he met his wife, Wendy, and settled into Tucson, AZ where he started up two outpatient clinics for a HealthSouth Rehab Hospital. His wife and him then moved up to the Phoenix area where she begun her career as a Pediatrician and he worked for several orthopedic surgeons at offices in Tempe and Scottsdale closely coordinating the rehab of the postop shoulder and knee patients while gaining insight into surgical techniques and reading of Xrays and MRI's. For the past 13 years he has worked with at a PT owned private practice clinic serving local area students and families while obtaining certifications in ASTYM, FMS and CIDN as well as training in PRI techniques and exercises to help his patients obtain their optimal function without pain.
