Jenny has been practicing physical therapy since earning her degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2001. She has been successfully incorporating integrative dry needling into her private practice as an adjunct to her manual physical therapy treatment since 2017. Looking at the body as a whole and treating the dysfunction and not just the pain has allowed her clients a quick return to sport, leisure and life with the utilization of manual therapy techniques including myofascial release, soft tissue mobilization and integrative dry needling as well as stretching and strengthening. She loves watching her clients become more aware of their bodies and learning how to maintain their best postural alignment to improve their strength, flexibility, and power while learning that they do not have to live in pain. In addition to her manual therapy skills, she has a wide range of experience working with clients with orthopedic and neurological disorders through her employment in the acute care hospital setting, short and long term rehabilitation setting, as well as the outpatient environment. She loves that she is in a profession where she can continue to learn and grown and is continually researching new ways and techniques to improve her skills and help her clients achieve their highest level of function. She has done Pilates instructor training through Balanced Body Fitness and loves the versatility of the Pilates reformer and introducing the reformer to her clients when appropriate. Working in her private practice setting at Thrive Wellness Physical Therapy and Personal Pilates has been a game changer in her career, allowing her the opportunity to treat clients one on one for a full 55 - 85 minutes with hands on sessions giving each client her full attention with enough time to get to the root of the problem, correct the dysfunction, and prevent future injuries and enhance athletic performance and recovery. She enjoys treating clients of all ages and levels.
