My name is Jacob Tuttle. I'm a general practitioner of Physical Therapy in Guymon, OK. I grew up in the small town of Cushing, OK, where oil-gas are main attraction. Cushing's known as the "pipeline crossroads of the world", it ships oil from +20 largest oil producers/shippers thru Cushing, as well as storing up to 70 million barrels of oil in the large Tank-farms around the Cushing area. I worked in the oil-field as a laborer in-between semesters in high school and college, this is where I learned it is more important to use my mind not by body for the rest of my life. My Mother a nurse and father a teacher/phys-ed, I grew up in a rather "physically active" family. I was an 4A all-state football player in high school and was lucky enough to play 4 years of college basketball at Southwestern College. I've had sprained ankles, tweaked knees, broken bones, and even surgical repair on R ankle, all of which play a factor in why I chose PT as a great avenue to help people understand, educate, re-educate, recover and return to highest activity possible. After undergrad, I spent a year learning health care administration at OK-state, and the started PT at WSU. I graduated in 2004 and began my journey in this fabulous field. After working in Hospital in/out-patient, Home Health, and school systems, I have started my own clinic. Currently I'm into my 3rd year of private practice at Guymon PT and Wellness. We provide out-pt services as well a contract services for Southwest Medical Center (Liberal, KS) and Accolade Home Care (Guymon, OK). We have underdone changes, buying a new building, embarking into our new gym "The Machine Shop", and hope to continue to grow our practice and help all our clients/patients return to highest possible ability.
