Edie has practiced for the past 25 years with a special focus on pain management. She became certified as an aquatic physical therapist through the Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute in 1999 and then added more specified soft tissue expertise, culminating with extensive study with John Barnes' myofascial release approaches. She combines a variety of approaches to address each person's needs for balancing their joint movement and muscle activation. Dry needling adds to this approach to help minimize the pain so retraining of balanced movement can be the habit. She is a founding owner-member of PT360, a worker-owner cooperative physical therapy practice in Williston, Burlington and Shelburne, Vermont.
