I am new to needling and am about to see someone with chronic (> 6 years) trigeminal neuralgia.
Does anyone have any tips and tricks or clinical pearls they can share for this?
Thanks,
Jeff Deguire
I don’t know about pearls. I would stick with homeostatic spots of the face and upper cervical where the trigeminal nucleus is most affected. B/c of chronicity they may have high QST score and need to start off w/ low dosage and smaller needles.
