Is there a known risk of dry needling a patient who is using testosterone enanthate (250mg/week)? The patient was diagnosed with low testosterone, but obtained “lab tested testosterone” on his own because he didn’t want to wait 6 weeks to see a doctor who could prescribe it.
There isn’t any risk in treating a patient in TRT treatment, also if I don’t think he’s doing it properly .I’ve started treating my patients with DN just now, but as a physician treating my pazientes with others kinds of ” biological injections ” as Prolotherapy, prp, and Prolozone, i haven’t had any problem with patients in testosterone replacement treatment, at the contrary it improves collagen production and the wound healing response and then the outcome of ID.
I hope this reply could help.
