We can use needling to normalize the immune, vascular, and lymphatic response in the areas of acute injury. I don’t know that I would say speed up as I don’t know that we can support that claim with peer reviewed evidence.

Superficial needling in areas of intact skin in proximity to the scab, proximal lymphatic drainage areas, or in the sensory n. distribution to help promote a normal vascular / lymphatic response may be tried. I would be careful if you are concerned about a potential infection of board or presence of vascular disease in the area.
