I have a tumbler who is having PCL/ ACL issues in the knee due to hip immobility. I am working on that. However, for DN on the PCL would you go in A-P through the anterior knee – posterior patella. Or would you insert the needle posteriorly even though the NAV sits in the posterior knee.
I am planning on running high frequency current into the area.
Thanks,
Ryan
For Joint space needling in the knee I would start with the AP technique utilized in the advanced course. You will be able to get into the joint space with this technique and I think it will be more comfortable for the patient. Let us know how it goes!
