RJ grew up outside of Fort Calhoun, NE where he would be found playing any sport that was in season. He then moved to Oakland, NE where he was a three-sport athletein high school, competing in basketball, football, and golf. During his Junior basketball season, he was a patient at Stodden Physical Therapy in Elkhorn while recovering from a hamstring injury. RJ continued his education at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He spent his free time attending every Husker football and basketball game, volunteering at Bryan hospital, and coaching a local 7th grade boys basketball team. RJ completed Physical Therapy school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. During his last year of PT school, he was able to complete a clinical rotation at our Elkhorn location. RJ enjoys watching and playing sports, and spending time with his family, friends, and his dog Brooks.
