
Dr. Moonhee Jo is a licensed physical therapist in the state of New York, Virginia and Maryland. He received his bachelor degree in Inje University and Southwestern University, post-professional doctor of physical therapy from Dominican College in New York.
Dr. Jo is strongly committed to staying focused on new and current treatments in Physical therapy. He has completed numerous post-graduate courses focusing on the understanding of the musculoskeletal system. Some of his continuing education has included: Maitland Australian Physiotheray, McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment, Schroth Method Scoliosis Therapy, Spinal Manipulation and Dry needling courses.
Dr. Jo has worked as a physical therapist for 10 years. His practice focuses on assessment and treatment of orthopedic clients. His “Hands-on” skills includes: Joint Mobilization, Muscle Energy Technique, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation(PNF), Soft Tissue Mobilization, Myofacial Release Technique, and Trigger Point Release.
Dr. Jo combines these manual treatments with specific exercise training based on the needs of the individual. He strongly incorporates postural re-education and correct movement into his treatment plan as he finds that a significant cause of pain and injury arises from posture related problems.
