Michelle Walker, PT, DPT has 9 years of experience in multiple areas of the physical therapy field. Her experience includes outpatient orthopedics, vestibular rehabilitation, acute care, wound care, aquatics, and short-term inpatient rehabilitation. She is proud to have been employed at Sweetwater Hospital Association since graduating from The University of Tennessee Chattanooga's Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2012. Michelle is excited to be able to offer dry needling services to the Sweetwater community and surrounding counties that are served by SHA. She has recently received certification through DSI Work Solutions to perform Job Function Matching and Functional Capacity Assessments, with plans to head up a new outpatient PT clinic in Vonore, TN soon. Prior to physical therapy school, Michelle was blessed to work with the great Pat Summit and Jenny Moshak as a student athletic trainer for the Lady Volunteer athletic program. Michelle is a faithful member of Northstar Church in Knoxville, TN and seeks to glorify the Lord through her work as a physical therapist. She is a proud wife and mother who loves nothing more than to spend time with her family.
