Dr. Fetters began her career as a personal trainer and fitness instructor while pursuing her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at the University of Dayton. She continued her studies at the University of Dayton in Physical Therapy school with research endeavors focused on manual therapy for the hypermobile patient population and vestibular rehabilitation. During physical therapy school, Dr. Fetters also traveled to China to experience Eastern Medicine at Nanjing Medical University. She then graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011. Dr. Fetters joined the Active Physical Therapy team in 2013. She specializes in treatment of the spine, jaw, and vestibular dysfunctions. Dr. Fetters has advanced training in Trigger Point Dry Needling and Manual Therapy techniques including joint manipulation, mobilization, and muscle energy. Dr. Fetters is the Clinic Coordinator of Clinical Education and serves as a Clinical Instructor for future Physical Therapists. Dr. Fetters is originally from Akron, Ohio. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, and practicing yoga.
