Leigh Alexander

Leigh is a physical therapist at a private, outpatient, orthopedic clinic that specializes in high-level manual therapy, including visceral manipulation, the Myokinesthetic System, and vocal cord massage, as well as more traditional myofascial release techniques. Although she enjoys treating people of all ages and conditions from infant to geriatric, she has a particular passion for performing artists, including dancers, aerialists, and musicians. Leigh is an active member of the Ohio Physical Therapy Association's Northeast district, as well as a member of the inaugural class of the L.I.F.E. Leadership Program. She also participates in the Foot and Ankle and Performing Arts Special Interest Groups of the Academy of Orthopedic PT, and is a member of the Research Section of the American Physical Therapy Association. She is also a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science and the Academy of Prevention and Health Promotion Therapies.
