Doctor Kimberly Tyborowski graduated with a B.S. in Athletic Training in 2009 and then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2012 from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a certified Athletic Trainer with experience working with middle school through Division I Collegiate athletes. Kim is certified in integrative dry needling which uses acupuncture needles to relieve inflammation, pain, and muscle spasming. She is experienced in a wide spectrum of orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, and cardiovascular conditions in all ages of patients. Kim uses functional movement screenings, manual therapy, modalities, and therapeutic exercise to treat the cause of each patient’s problems. Kim has continued her education by studying the McKenzie, Maitland, and Mulligan treatments for spine and extremity pain. Kim is also certified in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. Kim sets up plans of care based on a case-by-case basis to make sure each patient gets the best treatment and path to recovery.
