Karen is Clinical Director and owner of Body Mechanix Physical Therapy in Wakefield, Rhode Island since 1999. She is committed to providing the highest quality of evidence based physical therapy which has earned her an outstanding reputation in the community. Karen is an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) with over 30 years of experience, specializing in advanced manual therapy. She is certified in Spinal Manipulative Therapy and Dry Needling and received her Diploma in Osteopractic Physical Therapy from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. She has also been trained in Integrative Dry Needling. Karen graduated from Boston University in 1983 with a BS in Physical Therapy and the University of Rhode Island in 1999 with an MS in Exercise Science. She completed her transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy through Evidence in Motion. Karen is married and has three grown children. She enjoys working, golfing, traveling, gardening, dancing, hiking and yoga.
