Gina Fick

I have been practicing as a physical therapist for 21 years and have a Doctorate of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I am a certified orthopedic manual therapist, specializing in manual therapy of the spine and extremities, and I am also certified in synergistic and integrative dry needling techniques. I am currently enrolled in a post-graduate manual therapy fellowship program with the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine-US. At Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, I conducted biomechanical research aimed at comparing gender specific differences in sports specific tasks, such as jumping, landing, and cutting. I have extensive experience in post-surgical rehabilitation, sports performance training, sports injury prevention and recovery strategies, and chronic pain related disorders. My treatment philosophy is based upon evidence supported, diagnostic specific management of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. I have a sincere desire to serve others and to provide the highest quality of care to each individual patient. I value the importance of spending time with my patients, listening to them as they express their personal needs, concerns, and functional goals specific to their rehab experience and educating them along the way.
