Dr. Rex is a physical therapist passionate about promoting quality of life and helping people maintain their ability to engage in meaningful activities. As an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association including the Geriatrics specialty section, he has completed specialty certification as a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults (CEEAA) which emphasizes healthy mobility across the lifespan.
The pursuit of a career in physical therapy was a culmination of experiences in sports, exercise science, and higher education. Once in the profession, Dr. Rex discovered a love for engaging with the aging population to promote quality of life by helping maintain function and mitigating the influence of persistent pain and disease processes. In his current role, Dr. Rex serves as a physical therapist and Director of Rehabilitation among team of interdisciplinary rehabilitation professionals. Dr. Rex is passionate about learning and teaching, hosting clinical internships in all rehabilitation disciplines every year.
