A native of Wake Forest, NC, I initially became interested in physical therapy as a high school student while shadowing at Trinity Wellness Center in Raleigh, NC. I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2015 and hold a BS in Exercise Physiology from Appalachian State University. I hold a great diversity of work experience regarding manual labor intensive vocations in various environments including forestry/tree services, masonry and industrial construction where i worked as a skilled laborer in various steel, copper and aluminum foundries with demolition, welding, carpentry and refractory concrete applications. I have 12 years experience as an avid recreational/competitive rock climber as well as life-long athlete including basketball, baseball and football. I seek to use my expertise to serve the general, athletic, manual labor and climbing community in a variety of ways including outreach and in clinic evaluation and treatment.
