Similarly to as Frank mentioned, my personal favorite needles are still seirin needles (despite the plastic handles) and I usually just order needle lengths that are 10mm longer than I anticipate needing (for example, I’ll order 60mm length instead of 50mm) so I can ensure 10mm is still out of the skin when I’m preparing to use the Estim with them— this way I don’t have to sacrifice needle depth to apply e-stim to a treatment. That being said, if you are preferential to using needles with metal handles then Tai Chi brand is my favorite, but I have also used DBS needles and they have worked great for me as well.

Hi Sean,

Any of the starter kits will work but there are not metal handles in those kits ( good idea to include a few). Of course you just connect the clip to the metal part of the needle below the plastic handle. In regards to metal handles we use Tai chi brand but that is a personal preference and I would get various lengths and in regard to gauge you can use a smaller gauge for Estim as you will still deliver the current and also have a more comfortable insertion.

Hope that helps
