Dr. Perez-Duran is a native of Puerto Rico. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Boston College. Afterwards, he became an Emergency Medical Technician at George Washington University and was licensed by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). He attended medical school at Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico, before later earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at New York Chiropractic College in 2016. During his time in chiropractic college, Dr. Perez-Duran had the opportunity to treat athletes at events such as the Ironman Syracuse 70.3 and other marathons, further solidifying his interest in sports chiropractic. Dr. Perez-Duran is a Full-Body Certified Active Release Techniques provider who is also certified by the Titleist Performance Institute. He is also certified in RockTape Fascial Movement Taping, Functional Movement Systems, Y-Balance Test, and ConnectX instrument-assisted Myofascial Therapy. Having grown up an avid golfer since the age of 8, Dr. Perez-Duran has a special interest in golf mechanics and related injuries. In his spare time, Dr. Perez-Duran also enjoys doing CrossFit and playing his guitars. Having always been a sports car enthusiast, he thoroughly enjoys attending and participating in various motorsports events.
