Mason graduated from Physical Therapy school in 1998 from Thomas Jefferson University in Pennsylvania with his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. He previously has a Speech Communication degree and was working in the radio industry. Since graduating he has worked primarily in the field of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. His passion is treating musculoskeletal problems in the spine but has expertise throughout the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle with an on functional movement analysis. In 2006 Mason became certified as a Clinical Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).He also has been certified as a Manual Physical Therapist (FAAOMPT) and in Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). These credentials certifies that Mason has gone through rigorous written and oral practical examination to prove that he can safely evaluate, treat and manipulate various joints and provide a specific Home Exercise Program for that individual. He has completed courses in Total Motion Release, which is an amazing painless Home Exercise Program that allows the patient to have control of their own program. Lastly, Mason is completing his advanced education in Myofascial Release Techniques and Intergrative Dry Needling that will help him reduce myofascial tightness in the musculoskeletal system. Mason is married with a wife and has one son, living in the Anderson area. When not working, he likes spending time with family, working out, and watching his son play ice hockey or soccer.
