Monica has 16 years of outpatient physical therapy experience with the majority of those years as the Lead Physical Therapist at Baptist Rehabilitation Collierville in the Desoto Athletic Club. In 2004 she became a Board Certified Athletic Trainer through the National Athletic Training Association. Since 2003, she has been consulting with the University of Memphis Athletic Department primarily working with football. She has a passion for Sports Medicine and working with athletes. She is a marathoner and avid yoga practitioner. In 2016 she became a yoga instructor and uses yoga in her rehabilitation programs. She has been trained in Manual Therapy through Maitland Australian Physiotherapy. She has her certification in Selective Functional Movement Assessment. Monica enjoys a multi-modality approach to her rehabilitation programs using, corrective exercise, manual therapy, functional exercise, etc. She is excited to add Integrative Dry needling as another tool to help patients decrease pain, restore mobility and return to normal function.
