He has lectured on injuries in ice hockey. At this time, he is also involved with research in hip and groin injuries in professional hockey players. Donnie believes in life-long learning; to better serve his patients with ‘hands on therapy’ and ‘injury rehab’, he strives to remain on the leading-edge of rehabilitation techniques and exercise prescription. In 2015, he was presented with the Outstanding Athletic Trainer Award by the Minnesota Athletic Trainers Association. Donnie and his family currently reside in Woodbury.
