Cara J Bacher is an Occupational Therapist from New Jersey who practices and operates PHYT for Function, a self pay physical therapy, occupational therapy, and chiropractic group in Northeast Ohio. She attended West Virginia University where she completed her Bachelors in Human Performance and Health and Masters of Occupational Therapy. During her time at WVU, she competed on the WVU Road Cycling Team and WVU Equestrian Team. She comes from a professional background in Skilled Nursing, Home Health, and Geriatrics before transitioning to Outpatient in 2020. She specializes in orthopedic and manual therapy with special interests in non-operative shoulder management and sports performance. She works as a consultant with several Cleveland/ Akron area CrossFit gyms as well as endurance teams/clubs implementing dry needling, movement evaluation, and manual therapy for the care and performance of their athletes. Cara lives in Bay Village, OH with her partner and four dogs. In her free time she trains and competes in cycling and equestrian events. Cara currently treats at both PHYT CLE in downtown Cleveland and PHYT West in Fairview Park, OH.
