Dr. Alicia Hedges, DPT, CSMT, TPS
Dr. Alicia Hedges is a graduate of Duke University School of Medicine where she received her graduate degree in physical therapy. She completed her doctoral work in collaboration with Evidence in Motion and the International Spine and Pain Institute and her sub-specialty training with Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute. Dr. Hedges is certified in both medical yoga therapy and Pilates via the Professional Yoga Therapy Institute and an apprenticeship with the NC Pilates Certification Center. Dr. Hedges is a Certified Spinal Manual Therapist (CSMT), Certified Integrative Dry Needling practitioner and a certified Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS). She specializes in chronic pain, spinal orthopedics, and pelvic floor physical therapy. She combines evidence-based practice with a patient-centered approach in order to provide effective, compassionate care. She is passionate about helping others heal from their pain and gain wellness to age gracefully. She is accepting new patients seeking treatment for conditions including:
