This class is the greatest! I came in a nonbeliever and terrified of needles myself but after a colleague who was IDN trained help me gain mobility of my shoulder I took IDN as quick as I could. It works and has helped so many of my patients.
IDN has improved my clinical skills not only by providing another modality or intervention but by providing a framework on how the nervous system and circulation influence pain, dysfunction, and healing of tissue.
I found this course to be a great extension of the knowledge gathered in the foundation course. The Advanced course challenged the anatomical understanding of the body and the neurological system to a higher level for a comprehensive approach to improving musculoskeletal disorders.
IDN provides a comprehensive approach to treating our most commonly seen neuromuscular conditions. Dry needling allows a direct needle to influence nervous and muscular tissue to facilitate greater patient outcomes.
This course has been such a major asset for me at the division 1 college level. It has helped me with acute care as well as chronic injury care.
IDN courses are hands down the best continuing education courses I have taken in my 20 years of practicing PT. Such a great review of utilization of anatomy and neurology. Application of IDN to my practice of PT has been such a benefit to my patients.
Nick did a great job at watching every clinician individually and ensuring proper performance. He was available to answer extra questions and provide more in depth instruction.
Instructor was very informative, knowledgable, experienced, confident, and enthusiastic about his craft. He was was interested and understanding with answering questions asked by the students.
Great course to learn about dry needling for the first time and gain confidence to bring it back to the clinic.
Nick is an excellent presenter and made the 3 day course fun yet very informative. The material is extremely relevant considering the move to recognize the neurology associated with orthopedic conditions – “clearly pain has a brain”.
Great course. The course manual is going to be super helpful later. Nick has a tone of experience and give good feedback. Lots of self paced lab time which was crucial.
The IDN course taught by Nick was a fun and educational course. He gave me the knowledge to expand my practice with the use of dry needling for my athletes and patients.
This was an excellent introduction to dry needling and the concepts of targeting neuromuscular causes of pain. Nick did a great job at explaining the ideas in an easy to understand way and making me feel comfortable to begin dry needling tomorrow in the clinic.
I am glad I found IDN. This course, its methodology and philosophies match my own philosophies as a PT. The information can be put to use immediately. I will be using these techniques tomorrow morning. Much better then other courses I have taken.
Excellent comprehensive course of dry needling. The instructor was full of clinical pearls, expertise and evidenced based knowledge. I am so glad that I chose IDN over other courses because I feel this course has the entire package. Evidence based, homeostatic and spinal needling, and musculoskeletal plus neurological needling.
I have taken 6 courses in the last year. Sonya and the team at IDN have provided the most well-rounded courses of them all. The attention to detail, especially with the anatomy reviews was great.
Excellent course! Well paced and very effective to ease practitioners into developing the motor skills and how to integrate into my clinical reasoning. Best class I have been to in 10 years.
