IDN and Nick have helped expand my clinical tool kit to included dry needing with my patients. I look forward to helping my patients through a systemic approach.
I really enjoyed the process in which the info was presented from lecture to 3D anatomy, to teachers demonstrations in the lab. It helped me solidify the info and be more confident in the skills. The teachers were supportive with the goal of getting us comfortable within our limits and not pushing us to push needles as deep as able. I really appreciated their style as well as the IDN approach to dry needling.
It was an awesome balance of new technical skills, clinical reasoning, and anatomy review. Sonya used multiple teaching tools and visual aids to clearly teach the material. She provide excellent examples of clinical application which kept the class engaged. I feel conduced in the techniques and am better equipped to treat the whole body.
The IDN course content and presentation exceeded my expectations. Sonya and Stephanie are fantastic instructors and their teaching method stimulated my though process for clinical reasoning that will carry over in my daily patient care.
Both instructors were well versed and passionate about dry needling. The material presented was easy to understand and I feel well prepared to needle in the clinic come Monday morning.
I have looked at other dry needling courses, but in searching, this one seemed to make the most sense for how my brain works. This weekend, I learned so much in how to take care of the neuromuscular processes versus just the points of pain, for hopefully longer lasting results. Sonya and Stephanie made it interesting, explained everything well and the course was laid out in a comprehensive, progressive manner.
This course was excellent. The mix of lecture and practical labs was fantastic. It made me feel confident that I could needle a patient Monday morning.
Sonya and Stephanie were a great team! They worked so well together. I loved how Sonya used Visible Body and Stephanie used Essential Anatomy. They were both very engaging and passionate about IDN.
Sonya and Stephanie were a great pair and they made dry needling which originally made me nervous something that I can now use to be a better clinician.
I have practiced dry needling from another nationally known dry needling group and I noticed that other PT’s in my clinic were getting better results with chronic pain patients than me. Therefore I enrolled in the IDN foundation course.
This has been one of the best continuing education courses I’ve done. The quality of the content and instructions have been the best. Great professional instructors. Thank you Sonya and Stephanie.
Great dry needling course. I have attended other dry needling course and did not feel prepared to go into the clinic and perform dry needling after the course.
Nick did a great job at watching every clinician individually and ensuring proper performance. He was available to answer extra questions and provide more in depth instruction.
Instructor was very informative, knowledgable, experienced, confident, and enthusiastic about his craft. He was was interested and understanding with answering questions asked by the students.
Great course to learn about dry needling for the first time and gain confidence to bring it back to the clinic.
Nick is an excellent presenter and made the 3 day course fun yet very informative. The material is extremely relevant considering the move to recognize the neurology associated with orthopedic conditions – “clearly pain has a brain”.
Great course. The course manual is going to be super helpful later. Nick has a tone of experience and give good feedback. Lots of self paced lab time which was crucial.
The IDN course taught by Nick was a fun and educational course. He gave me the knowledge to expand my practice with the use of dry needling for my athletes and patients.
This was an excellent introduction to dry needling and the concepts of targeting neuromuscular causes of pain. Nick did a great job at explaining the ideas in an easy to understand way and making me feel comfortable to begin dry needling tomorrow in the clinic.
