Sonya was an amazing instructor. Her explanations were detailed, clear, and precise. She made me much more confident and comfortable with the needling techniques than I expected to be right away.
I am so pleased that I was able to participate in the IDN foundation course. Being a PT for 40 years I have followed the progress of dry needling in the PT profession since Dr. Travell. I am thrilled that I am now able to use this technique.
Excellent course. Sonya was a great teacher who was able to explain everything thoroughly and answer all our questions. She made the 3 days fun!
Course outline and instructor took difficult information and made it easy to understand, implement and execute with a touch of fun.
This is the best course I have taken in a long time in regards to relevance of treating my population of patients, but also importantly how well the lecture followed the manual and the labs. I really appreciated the important things we needed to know were in the manual. I did not have to worry about writing everything down and missing the lecture.
Great course. Not overwhelming or intimidating easy to stay engaged and feel confident about supplementing your own PT skills with IDN.
It is so nice to go to a course and walk out confident of a new skill. Nick was a fantastic instructor. This course is worth every penny.
This was the best course I have attended in many years. The philosophy and theories behind dry needling make sense. It is consistent with other philosophies I have studied and will be a great addition to treatment of many types of patients. The palpitation and needling points were easy to follow and the overall course atmosphere was very constructive and warm.
The course was extremely well laid out which made it easier to understand the research behind IDN. Will be beneficial to use the skills learned to treat our soldiers and to treat all the injuries we see.
I thoroughly enjoyed this course. The instructors made it easy to understand. I was given plenty of time during labs to feel comfortable with each technique.
I was nervous about taking the course, but everything was organized well and the instructor made everyone comfortable.
After this course I feel I have a great understanding of how to treat pts with more restricted movement patterns or lots of pain with palpitation.
This was one of the most engaging, fun, and useful courses that I have taken in five years of practice. I’m anxious to put these concepts into proactive with my patients.
Great course! Nick taught in a way that made the content easy to understand and perform. I would highly recommend this course.
I thought the entire program was set up to be efficient. I felt that the safety issues were expressed so well that I am very comfortable performing dry needling.
I did not know what to expect coming in, but there was excellent focus on safety and I felt comfortable both inserting needles into other individuals and having needles placed in me.
I got so much more information about the neuromuscular system as a whole. It was very refreshing vs. being just given a specific muscle and told where to needle. Being able to think of the spine, central/peripheral nervous system and the muscle together was eye opening.
The 3 day course provided all the basic and needed knowledge to perform dry needling. The course had a large amount of lab time that allowed enough practice so that I became comfortable with every technique.
I have had dry needling done once and I found it to be very effective. After this course I feel like I will be dry needling often. It seems to be a very effective treatment.
I was pleasantly surprised by the holistic approach that IDN uses. The safety and efficiency of this treatment option will be useful in both my neurologic and orthopedic population.
