David is confident in his knowledge but not dogmatic. The emphasis on how safe dry needling is compared to “another” course I went to puts this clinician at ease. Only learned 1/2 the body at “another” course, the entire body is covered in this course!
Excellent presentation in how to utilize dry needling beyond palpating a trigger point and placing a needle. The depth of information demonstrated how effective needling could be for a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
Excellent course, evidence based and forward thinking.
I was previously trained on DN but I opposed the method of “exhaust the trigger point” and researched other methods. I found Dr. Ma’s information to be the way I wanted to use DN for my patients. This course was packed with information that was immediately applicable to my patients/clinical practice. The improved method of using Integrative DN is so much more effective than the technique I previously learned. I am sure it will elevate my practice to the next level and improve my business model.
We took a great amount of time researching, speaking to other groups, and speaking to Frank before deciding to utilize IDN for our company. We made a great decision. Nick Sanders presented the material, directed out course, and did an outstanding job with the lecture and lab. We had over twenty clinicians attend this conference and everyone had an excellent experience, even ones that were “scared” of the needles. I would highly recommend the IDN conference and their approach to dry needling.
Dave was an awesome instructor and very knowledgeable clinician and teacher. His expertise and teaching style definitely helped me understand the rational and treatment principles of dry needling. I look forward to using it at my clinic.
The instructor was excellent and evidence based, did a good job showing how to integrate DN into other aspects of practice.
Great presentation and I appreciated the fact that pain and inflammation can originate from nerves, and soft tissue work alone may not be able to fix the problem.
Great course. Great Instructor. Would recommend to any clinician who wants to greater benefit patients.
IDN has greatly helped improve my results in practice and has made me open my mind to treating the entire patient instead of one area.
Being exposed to DN as a treatment and seeing its value and knowing that I can apply this directly to a myriad of patients in particular I am excited to work with HA’s, TMD, and elbow pain.
It’s easy to get stuck in a treatment routine and even diagnosis routines. This class has made me remember/think about/ revisit many things that I haven’t had to for a few years. What I am taking home is a reminder to treat more globally, not just locally. Frank’s sense of humor and knowledge, esp about anatomy was another great part of the course.
Knowledge to advance my practice with multiple levels of cervical spine treatment options and skills useful for everyday and complex treatment options. A truly outstanding course!
I have been a daily headache sufferer for many years. I have had 6-7/10 daily for six weeks prior to the course. I volunteered to be a demonstration “patient” for the cervical / trigeminal labs. I am headache free at the end of day three!
Impressed with the ability of all the course instructors to answer all the questions asked and to make me feel comfortable enough to dry needle my patients tomorrow in the clinic. Also, I get paid $23 per hour in residency in Oregon and had to pay to get here (flights, hotel, food etc.) and I can say that it was worth the investment thanks again!
The professional manner in which this course was delivered was beyond expectations. The knowledge, skills and abilities demonstrated by the clinicians made for effective practical demonstration for IDN. I feel confident in my skills and understanding going forward in my professional career thank you.
Excellent review of cutaneous innervations and how treating innervation zones helps modulate pain from nerve irritation/inflammation versus just a muscle effect perspective. Frank is a great instructor with good presence and assistance during lab practice.
The best Con Ed. course I have been to. The course lays out the foundation for creativity in treating a multitude of disorders. The information is immediately usable upon completion and relevant to most any patient population. I highly recommend this course for anyone looking for the next level of care.
Despite being acupuncture certified I found this course be very beneficial and well thought out.
Dry needling is a new concept for me to integrate into my practice. I found Dave to be informative and well versed in IDN’s practices and theories. I feel very confident in utilizing these techniques tomorrow with my patients and I have Dave and IDN to thank for that.
